FAQ
Confused on how something works? Chances are it's a common issue. Here are some of our frequently asked questions.
What edition of Minecraft is the server?
The server is available for both Java (Desktop) and Bedrock (Windows / Mobile) edition players using plugins called Geyser and Floodgate. The server is also running the most recent version; 1.21, meaning you have access to all the exciting new features!

How is the server being hosted?
The server is being hosted locally by Admin and Moderator JosieIsNotARat in the USA. This, as opposed to a hosting service, means we have complete control over plugins and server configuration.

How do I get added to the whitelist?
Join our discord server and carefully read through the rules to gain access to a channel called #whitelist-requests.
Once you're there, share the following information:
-
Your Java username (if you have one)
-
Your Bedrock username (if you have one)
-
Specify which edition you plan on playing on most

Wait patiently. Once you've been added to the whitelist, a mod will reply to your message telling you that you're ready to go! :)
How do I link my Bedrock and Java accounts?
-
Join the GlobalLinkServer with both your Java and Bedrock account (IP: link.geysermc.org, Java port: 25565, Bedrock port: 19132)
-
Start the linking process by typing /linkaccount on your Java or Bedrock account
-
You’ll get a message with a random number that you have to enter on the account that you did not start the linking process on.
-
Enter the random number on the other account by typing /linkaccount <code>
-
You should get kicked from the server on both your Bedrock and Java account with the message that it had successfully linked your accounts.
To unlink your globally linked accounts, join the GlobalLinkServer (as described above for linking) on either Java or Bedrock, and use the /unlinkaccount command.
Linking your accounts means that your Bedrock and Java accounts will share the same player information on the server. This includes inventory, effects, and locational data. If you don't link your accounts, this information will be separate for each account, essentially making one of them an alt account.

How do I make my Bedrock account whitelist-able?
Briefly join the Geyser test server:
ip: test.geysermc.org
port: 19132

And that's it!
This will register your account in Geyser's database, allowing ReVoltage mods to add you to the whitelist.
